Why does the newly installed water purifier have white foam?

  1. There are trace or even measurable hydrophilic agents in the filtrate
    In order to ensure the water permeability, the surface of the filter element membrane must show hydrophilic properties, but the general membrane matrix is ​​hydrophobic, so a hydrophilic modifier is needed to modify it. General hydrophilic agents (protective liquids) have certain amphiphilic properties, and amphiphilic properties are conducive to the generation and stability of foam. In layman’s terms, the generation and relatively stable existence of foam must reflect the following fact: there are trace or even measurable hydrophilic agents in your filtrate, and the harm of medical-grade and edible-grade hydrophilic agents (protective liquids) to the human body basically does not need to be considered, so don’t worry.
  2. Pure physical phenomenon
    When tap water is pressurized and transported remotely through the tap water network, the solubility of the gas in the network and the gas in the atmosphere in the water increases under the action of pressure, making the gas molecules smaller. Since there is always pressure inside the system, the gas molecules cannot be released. When this part of the water flows out of the system, the pressure on the gas molecules suddenly disappears, so they expand into bubbles that we can see with our naked eyes, and the water becomes milky white, and then gradually disappears. This is a normal, purely physical phenomenon and will not affect the drinking of pure water.
